Booking Las Vegas Bands is harder than it looks

Booking Las Vegas Bands is big business. Many bands from all over the world want to play here but if they are not known, they need to become a cover band. It is not practical for an out of town cover band to even try and play in Las Vegas because of the low pay and hotels will not offer free accommodations. Also, talent buyers do not like booking out of town talent because they have no draw. There are so many bands that move to Las Vegas that there are now more bands than there are places to play. Many of the casinos like rotating a small list of bands and that is frustrating to the other bands that have no places to play. Tribute bands do well, but venues only like booking one show at a time so they can have a concentrated turnout. Some bands spend months of rehearsing and spending money on their promotional materials just to break up because they never get booked.

Many of the casino lounges feature dance cover bands with free admission! Watching and dancing to cover bands in casino lounges is a great bargain for the guests because for a price of a couple of drinks they can have a good time. The local casinos off the strip rely heavily on bands with a strong following, because they do not have the benefit of having tourists stay in their hotel. Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas is a great place to see free Las Vegas Bands. They have 2 great stages that feature a wide variety of music along with the world’s largest light show.
